If you are having troubles using iMessage on your iPhone or iPad with a Roam Mobility SIM card, try switching from using your Canadian phone number to your Apple ID (email address) while using iMessage.
To use iMessage with your Apple ID, navigate to Settings > Messages > Receive At and tap Use your Apple ID for iMessage. You may need to delete any existing iMessage conversations and then start the app again.
Note that iMessage requires a data connection so if you did not purchase a data plan with Roam Mobility your messages will default to regular SMS which is included in any Talk+Text plans we offer.
Please note: If you have purchased a Data-Only plan, you will only be able to send iMessage to other iMessage users. If you attempt to send iMessage to users with non-Apple devices, the message will not be able to send.
