How do I know which time zone I need?
The time zone you choose when topping up will determine when your plan starts and ends. To make sure your plan starts at the desired time, we recommend picking the time zone that matches the destination you’ll be visiting.
Example: If you’re flying from Vancouver to New York, and your plane arrives at 6:00PM local time (Eastern Time), you should schedule your plan to start at 6:00PM Eastern Time so it starts when your flight arrives.
Alternatively, you can use your home time zone when scheduling a plan, but you’ll need to account for the time difference if your travel destination is in a different time zone.
Why am I only seeing certain time zones?
We’ve limited the number of time zones listed to the ones that cover the United States. There is also only one city listed per time zone to keep things simple. To figure out which time zone you should pick when topping up, please consult the chart below:

Why are there two entries for Mountain Time?
During daylight savings time (March 11 – November 4), most places on Mountain Time switch from using Mountain Standard Time (MST) to using Mountain Daylight Time (MDT). The majority of Arizona ignores daylight savings and uses Mountain Standard Time (MST) all year round.
