Before travel we would recommend checking your device to ensure it is unlocked. You will be able to confirm by following the steps below:
- Power off your device.
- Locate your device's SIM card slot.
- Remove your carrier SIM (if applicable)
- Insert the Roam Mobility SIM Card.
- Power your device back on.
*Please Note: If you're outside of the US your phone will not be able to connect to any network. But you will still be able to confirm if the device is locked, or unlocked.
After inserting your SIM, and powering on the device. Please check for any error messages, if you receive errors such as Invalid SIM, SIM Not Valid, SIM Not Supported or if your device requests a SIM Network Unlock PIN, chances are is that your device is still locked to its original carrier.
If you do not see any error messages or any requests for PINs, your device is unlocked.
