If you insert your Roam SIM card into your device and receive a message saying "Invalid SIM card", "Network locked SIM card", or that your device requires a SIM network unlock PIN, this means that your device is locked to a carrier. The equivalent notification on locked iPhones would be a message saying "SIM Not Supported."
In order to obtain the unlock PIN to unlock your phone, you will need to contact your carrier or use a third-party device unlocking service such as DoctorSIM.
